Our mission is to provide an annual event that will generate funds through
the production of the Daniel Dopps Memorial PRCA Rodeo to allow
charitable and educational activities in our community. And to provide
established grounds where the community and the surrounding area can
come to together and enjoy family friendly entertainment, all the while
teaching our youth sportsmanship and to educate the public to the
benefits of our Western heritage.
As a memorial rodeo and a non-profit with a 501(c)3, donations
are based on the proceeds generated by ticket sales,
merchandise sales, fundraising events and sponsorships from
that years' rodeo.  Each committee members gives
recommendations of support within the community of
Mountain Home, Elmore County and the State of Idaho.

The Daniel Dopps Memorial rodeo committee is an all-volunteer

In 2017, the Daniel Dopps Memorial Rodeo provided the
opportunity for various non-profits to raise funds for their
organizations through concessions at the rodeo.  For some,
this is their largest fundraiser each year.

In 2011, the Daniel Dopps Memorial Rodeo Committee formed a
sub-committee to oversee the Daniel Dopps Memorial
scholarship program.

In May 2017 scholarships were awarded to Brittany Craig from
Mountain Home High School and Abigail Juarez from Glenns
Ferry High School.
